Continued Enhancements to JD Edwards Mobile Apps

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers will now benefit from the first mobile application enabled for disconnected and offline use.

This release brings the total number of Mobile Applications available for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to 84. In addition, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne customers will now benefit from the first mobile application enabled for disconnected and offline use.

The existing Manage My Work Orders for Mobile Tablet application is now enabled for disconnected and offline use: Maintenance technicians can load their currently assigned work orders to their tablet, access the information offline, update work orders based on their progress, and then upload the changes back into JD Edwards EnterpriseOne when they are connected to a network.

Manage My Work Orders disconnected mobile application

This brief video discusses how field and service technicians can use the newly-released JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manage My Work Orders disconnected mobile application to improve efficiency while working offline in the field.

Technicians can use this mobile application to update work order status, dates, issue parts and add notes locally on their device, and then later easily upload the information into the JD Edwards system.

Additional disconnected mobile applications for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne will be available in the near future.
