It addresses material and resource constraints simultaneously to recommend alternative resources, alternate routings and bills-of-material, secondary material sources, and suppliers as needed. It can also calculate, manage, and monitor production schedules to optimize critical resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
Oracle Supply Planning quickly and easily identifies demand at risk and recommendations to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time. The solution evaluates building ahead of time, alternate resources, substitutes, and alternate suppliers to overcome material and capacity constraints. You can also prioritize and resolve multiple exceptions in a single action.
The graphic user interface and powerful analytics make it easy to understand and find solutions for potential problems. In just a few clicks you can determine the root cause and model what-if-changes to capacity, demand, and supply. You can then easily evaluate the effectiveness of alternative plans and decide which solution aligns best with your business objectives.
Unlike JDE where you can only create one plan, in Oracle SCP Cloud you can run multiple supply simulations using different assumptions.
