E1 Manufacturing Standard Module can provide Managers and Supervisors with good inputs and tools to be informed/alerted about exception or immediate and important decision to take.
But due to the lack of tools to easily provide or update the required information, these E1 great tools are not used properly.
Redfaire as developed a set of screens to fill these gap and allow users to easily update a schedule or process work orders from user freindy screen compatible with mobile device.
Thanks to the Redfaire MES solution, data doesn’t stay in the workshop anymore and are fully available to be leverage using E1 standard tools or legacy reporting tools.
A Gantt type screen provides a quick overview about machines/labour availability by group of work center. Any capacity issue can be immediately identified by the Production Scheduler.
Drag and drop feature allows user to easily solve any capacity issue. User can also assign an operation to an alternative work center.
E1 back scheduling standard capabilities are leveraged to properly update all the work order operations dates.
Any transaction/validation perform in this screen will actually happen in E1 thanks to Orchestrations.
Identity the Work Order ready to be executed is not always an easy task.
In Redfaire MES solution a wizard guides the Production Supervisor so she/he can easily retrieve and select the work order pending to be printed.
Additionnaly, user can print labels and perform inventory issue for the parts to be picked in advanced.
A touch screen/mobile devices compatible screen make possible the Production Clerks to easily perform all the transactions/inquiries they need:
-Start and stop an operation,
-Record an interrumption time (breakdown, maintenance...),
-Perform an inventory issue or backflush,
-Record labour, setup time,
-Record produced quantities and scrap,
-Record test results,
-Review his/her activity
All from a single screen and with a limited quantity of clicks or data entry.
When an work order quantity is completed all the associated transaction can be performed by a Production Supervisor or operation using a wizard or barcode scanning options to:
-Print labels,
-Perform parts backflush or manual issue,
-Enter quantity produced, quantity scrapped, reason code,
-Review quality result, request a new sample and update quality test results,
All the components and produced item movements can be recorded by the Warehouse or Production Clerk from a single transfer screen compatible with mobile devices and barcode scanning.
User is guided to select an accurate lot and location from and scan destination or select it from a drop down list.
The Redfaire MES leverage the E1 Quality Management functionalitities.
The Quality Supervisor can review in any moment the results entered and be informed in real time about any quality exception.
Production Clerks/Supervisors can display instructions and enter quality test result easily.
The results will be immediately available in E1 and the required notification trigerred in case of non-conformity.
Production Supervisors, Clerks, Scheduler or Manager can access to realtime dashboard and review the factory/workshop performance about capacity management, yield or pending work orders.
When possible it is highly recommended to collect information about machine activity and measurements directly from the machines sensors.
