Tell us about yourself
I grew up in Mumbai, India, the city of dreams. I  moved to Ireland in 2019 for my Master's. I am enjoying my time in Ireland and have been lucky enough to spend time living in Dublin and Limerick.

Tell us about your role at Redfaire
For the last year, I have been working as an Oracle Technical Consultant with the Global Support team. I help JD Edwards clients with a range of tasks such as deployments, patching of servers, user security, JDE user creations, and lots more. It is a really varied role and never boring. There was a steep learning curve at the start as I was new to the JD Edwards world, but luckily I am part of a really supportive team who mentored and guided me.

How did you get started with technology?
I first learned about coding when I was a teenager from my sister was working as a Software Engineer. I took to it straight away, I found it interesting and easy. I was always interested in solving problems and knew I wanted to work with technology so I started to study coding, attend conferences, and keep up-to-date on all the latest innovations. I had some great mentors along the way and I even presented at a few tech conferences. I was selected to be a part of  ACM Women in Computing in India. This was a great opportunity to learn from my peers.

I love books, particularly, fiction and autobiographies and I love travelling. I particularly like combining both my hobbies!
