Given the volume of transactions, it was important for the IT team to find a solution to proactively manage ERP data.

Large ERP data volumes in the JD Edwards production environment were causing ERP performance issues.
The standard JD Edwards tools were insufficient for the sheer scale of their purge and archive needs. ARCOR investigated the challenge and decided that the development of a custom tool by the internal team was too time-consuming and would distract from their core mission.
The IT team chose Redfaire International for their experience in food industry ERP and Datawaire Data Archiving for JD Edwards. The Datawaire data management tool has been used successfully by JD Edwards clients around the world.

The IT team could quickly and easily configure the archiving tool to optimize the Demantra database. The modules were configured in a matter of days and went live in a controlled, scheduled manner.
The project focused on critical processes and showed immediate productivity improvements including better ERP performance and fewer issues with database timeouts in the production environment. This saved time and money, allowing the IT team to focus on higher value tasks.
In fact,Datawaire Data Archiving was considered such a success, it was also extended to other applications and Demantra projects, proving the solution an ideal template for virtually any data archiving requirements.
